A ride on our bikes

This afternoon as the weather improved we decided to go for a ride on the bikes. I had fitted a computer to Chris’s bike, so for the first time we had an accurate measure of distance. In all we rode 12.9 miles and we both felt fresh when we got home. We called in at Paul and Carol’s to drop off the pen drive with the photo that he’s going to print off for Huw and Mel.

The computer performed well and really helped me to get a feel for distance and effort. One great bonus was that we both cycled up Church Road to finish off the ride. For supper we had a massive portion of asparagus with Chris’s home made hollandaise sauce.
